Intro to Corporate identity


Activity two: Company - "Sanitarium"

1. What symbols has the company used to represent the brand? Does the brand use any Australian symbols or Icons in their design (if so; identify the symbols and their meanings)

A. Sanitarium uses a symbolic picture of a wheat plant. It signifies the history and the companies products. Sanitarium's main products are Wheat-Bix and Up-and-Go liquid breakfast, both containing Wheat. The Company's origin are from a bakery, hence the main ingredient wheat.

2. What colours have the company used to represent the brand?

A. Navy, Yewllo, Red.

3. What sort of message do you think the colours are trying to convey?

A. The colours are trying to convey good natural health. This is indicated by the red sun underlining the text, the bright yellow wheat and the fresh navy background. These are all prime colours and are used to represent simplicity and good.

4. What style of typography has the company used (serif/san serif/italic/bold) and what does this say about the brand?

A. Sanitarium uses san serif font with italics. The typography used is clean and fresh. Its trying to convey that the company is not complicated and that its products are also clean fresh and good for its customers.
